A collection of 3D prints I am designing inspired by the North Rim Grand Canyon which I visited with the boys in July of 2024 and just less than a year later a wild fire roared through destroying multiple historic structures. The North Rim, being less visited, was a peaceful experience where one could just "take in" the Grand Canyon's breath taking views. While these 3D prints will serve as a means to share the historic buildings and artifacts lost it is also important to remember the huge impact this had on the park's employees and residents.
History of the Grand Canyon, including the lodge can be found at the Grand Canyon Historical Society

Have your own 3D printer, a friend with one, or even your local library? You are in luck! I am making the STLs for these available both via Printables and Thingiverse so that anyone can print these out on their own. My goal is to help spread the word about our National Parks and the need to contact our representatives and let them know we need to protect these parks both today and generations to come! Please do leave a tip via PayPal or Buy Me a Coffee that will support my time, effort, and material for creating these (for some of this work it has taken several failed prints to learn the best methods to design particular items). I will be donating 50% of net tips given to this model to the Grand Canyon Disaster Relief Effort - please do indicate, when tipping, that it is for these models!
