Print Settings

I will expand on what settings I use as time allows and/or questions I receive.

I use a 0.4 mm nozzle
Wall Thickness 1.2 mm
Top/Bottom Thickness 1.2 mm
Infill Density 10%
Infill Pattern Gyroid (I strongly recommend this it gives the best final look - especially for light colored filaments)
Build Plate Adhesion Type: Brim (helps prevent warping)
Cooling: 80% fan speed (helps prevent warping)
Note about printer speeds: I slow the printer down for the first four initial layers by a factor of four to help prevent warping.

A picnic organizer that inspired by the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.  It depicts the North Rim's Grand Canyon Lodge on two sides (front of it and view of what it looked like on the inside on of the  back). One of the sides views a depiction of Brighty the Burrow and the other side a view of the Grand Canyon as seen from the North Rim.  The lodge was destroyed by a wild fire on July 12, 2025 and Brighty the Burrow was severely damaged, own a piece of history by simply downloading and printing it out!

Show your love and support of Acadia National Park with this themed picnic table organizer.   It features three slots for your flatware and one for your napkins.

You can download the STL for printing this out from Printables or Thingiverse - note many libraries have 3D printers!

Please be sure to "like" the designs on the above sites and if you do print it out please also share your make!

Introducing the first in my line of Picnic Table Organizers!  The organizer has four compartments; one for forks, one for spoons, and one for knives with the back compartment to hold napkins!

Each side depicts a scene from Bowlus, Minnesota's history: front side is based on a street scene from 1910, right side is the Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church, back side is the old Bowlus Depot, and the left side is old fire hall!

Cost to print is $30 and I will donate 10% of the sales to the "Save the Bowlus Firehall Fund"!
